General Rules and League Information (WWE '12)

Hello, aspiring superstars and welcome to the Champions of the Ring!

The Champions of the Ring SvR 2011 PS3 League is looking for dedicated Superstars looking to make their name known throughout the world of wrestling! CotR is a unique PS3 League, that gives its members the opportunity to build and develop a character's career amongst an entire community of awesome players and myself who wishes they could be as cool as cody Very Happy

Each week, you will compete in a match, at a time determined by both competitors and climb the ranks towards the Division Championships.

The following describes how to create and improve your character in the CotR League. CotR features a unique way to running a WWE '12 league, by implementing several RPG mechanics for character growth and allowing the user of both Custom characters and WWE Superstars. After registering on the forum, you will be able to edit your Character Sheet in your User Profile. In there, you will be able to customize your Champions stats to your liking. Some fields will only be modifiable by Moderators.

Create a Character

Your character will start with the following...
-Overall Rating 75
-Resiliency
-2 Other Abilities
-Anything else your heart desires

Attributes Minimum

It is a league rule that all Attributes (Durability, Tag Team, etc...) must be 50 or higher.

Improving Your Character

By winning major titles and winning site contests your character will increase in Overall, becoming stronger each time. Listed below are the ways to increase your character's Overall rating...

Compete for a Major Title:
By competing for a major title, your character's Overall will still increase by 2. This is a one time bonus that occurs only for your first title match and only if you lose.

Win a Major Title:
Winning the Cruiserweight, Heavyweight or Tag Team championships will increase your Overall by 5. This increase only occurs once for each title.

Win a Contest:
Every month, a new contest will be held and the winner(s) for each contest will have their Overall increased by a small amount determined by the GM.

Become an Ultimate Champion of the Ring:
Once every few months, a special PPV event will be held to determine the Ultimate Champion of the Ring by pitting the current Cruiserweight Champion against the current Heavyweight Champion. Becoming the Ultimate Champion will net you an extra 5 to your Overall (as well as being a total badass).

Note: The maximum Overall any character can attain is 90.

Divisions

Champions of the Ring has three primary divisions: Cruiserweight, Heavyweight and Tag Team. Your character(s) will compete amongst these divisions automatically based on your weight class.

Rivalries & Stables

This league supports Rivalries and Stables. There are no special rules for how to go about creating them, but if you wish to have a Stable mate you want to be your manager in a match it is completely legal according to the manager rules. Also, you can ask me to get your storyline matches on the match card ahead of time and I will do the best I can Smile
