Commentators and Backstage interviewers (Available for download...keywords COTR)

Hey all, when writing promos i find it a little hard to keep writing Announcer 1...2...etc. I thought and i hope you all agree that to flesh out our federation and to add realism that we put faces to these characers. I felt that these canon characters could be useful but if you guys have any ideas to change them ill of course make the changes that would be best. Also, keep in mind that these are not my characters but ours as a community and can be used any way you desire. I've created them and you can download them online to use in story mode as i plan to do and below i'll attach a brief bio and picture so you can have some idea of how they would interact with you and each other. Once again keep in mind if you dont agree with some of these chars....everything is subject to change. Enjoy!



Backstage Interviewer(face): Quinn Walker/Nickname: Quinn

Quinn is an intern of GM lee's, she aspires to be the first female lead commentator but is still way too green for the position. Instead she has been given the task to interview wrestlers backstage and if shes really on, she can clinch an exclusive return or reaction interview. She graduated at the top of her class in college and is a very ambitious girl but no floozy. She's also not overly conservative but if your looking for a cheap easy girl you'd have a better chance elsewhere. She is bubbly, personable and sweet but she's not afraid to get in the face of any wrestler and get the inside story. She's also in COTR to remind everyone that this isn't just a mans world. (Compare to Lillian Garcia)




Backstage Interviewer(tweener): Brent Sullivan/Nickname: Brent,Sully

Brent Sullivan is very much like his backstage counterpart Quinn as far as being ambitious but his tactics to get to lead announcer can be brutal. Let's just say if he talked a wrestler into taking out lead announcers and was asked to step in to fill the role no one would be suprised. A very smart and savvy younger man but dont let his stature fool you, he'll accept punishment to his face...but you'd better watch your back because if he can get the right people on his side he might attempt revenge...but most of the times he's just trying to get to lead. Personality wise he might be a bit mouthy asking the wrong questions and pushing for answers from angry wrestlers...let's say his timing is a bit off...but he can get a story like the best of them. (Compare to Todd Grisham)




Lead Announcer (Face): Greg "The BEAR" Kingsley/Nickname: Bear,Greg


Gregory Kingsley is a former world,tag,european,intercontinental and hardcore champion of several companies. His wrestling style and demeanor is very in sync with the older days of wrestling. Days with no pyros and big pay days. He's naturally likeable with his deeper southern voice and personable behaviour often times when he gets announced to walk down to do commentary the audience cheers knowing that a true living legend is amongst them. Even in his age his swagger and love for the buisness is enough to make any women swoon and any wrestling buff bow when in his prescence. Him and Gm Lee are close friends and Kingsley gave up retirement just to commentate for one of his dearest friends. Do not put his wrestling to the test...he's a submission artist and is known as the man with a thousand holds but in his age it maybe be more like twenty. He doesn't boast of his past but speaks highly of stars he sees potential in, who not only remind him of the golden age of wrestling but also those who simply put, play fair. (Compare to Jerry Lawler)



Lead Announcer(heel/color): Andersen Griffith/Nicknames: Andersen

Now most people think of him as a coward but theres a few who see him as smart. He doesn't run in your face with his opinion he'd rather state it for the entire world to hear. He's a smug,arrogant and often condescending jerk but there are some he can tolerate here in COTR. As far as wrestler goes anyone Greg sees as a winner Andersen views as a loser and will state it plainly on the mic. His sharp wit and biting sarcasm only aid in his ability to writh under the skin of anyone he meets. This of course was not the man Gm Lee hired...in fact Andersen used to be more like Quinn. But once he reached the peak of his career and was offered lead his true self reared its ugly head and transformed into the man you hear on the mic today. Though the two often butt heads they have great chemistry and deliver well every night in COTR. (Compare to Micheal Cole)

lol The bear! I love the concept of it.. Personally I think it's a great idea.. Especially if we all download them and use them in the interactive upload option I was just talking about.. Check out my recent topic under general discussion called "get more interactive?".

Pretty awesome Creed but you think maybe you could change Brent Sullivan attitude to somewhat of Matt Strikers instead just making a suggestion.

Backstage Interviewer(tweener): Brent Sullivan/Nickname: Brent,Sully

Brent Sullivan is a former wrestler with a lot of knowledge of the buisness. He knows every move performed and truly feels he deserves lead alongside Greg becase of his expertise. He does not hide his disdain for Andersen...he feels he's still too green and only made it so far on his ability to brown nose Gm Lee. His wit unlike Andersen is softer and more appropriate and is pretty much even and unbiased. He simply calls it as he sees it and doesn't push any performers over the others. Occasionally he is called upon to commentate matches but rarely gets a main event due to his status of being a backstage interviewer. He is used more often then not on lesser shows or pay-per-views. (Compare to Matt Striker)

(Made some changes a la Inpact, great idea to make him more like Matt striker.)
